Your Credit Report

Whether you are buying a home, applying for a credit card, or getting homeowners insurance, there is one report that will be critical to the process – your credit report. Also known as a credit file disclosure, your credit report is a record of your credit history as maintained by the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies – Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

By law, you are entitled to receive one free credit report every 12-months. AnnualCreditReport.com is the official, centralized service for consumers to request their free annual credit report.
